I'm currently in my senior year at Hofstra University, where among several other things, I am studying Religion. I was born and raised with Protestant Christianity, and I couldn't be more thankful. I'm a member of First Church of Christ in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and currently attend CenterPoint Church in Bellmore, New York. When I was 18 years old, I had the amazing opportunity to go to Israel on Birthright. I have always been fascinated with religion, but after that trip, I knew I had to take things to a more personal level. I started learning about Messianic Judaism as a way to explore my faith, and also began interpreting Biblical teachings and stories in a way that made sense to me (non-blasphemously, of course). I love talking to other people about my religious thoughts and discoveries, so I thought blogging would be a great way to bounce ideas and turn brain power into actual words. The only topic I'm an expert in is personal opinion, and that's what you'll find on this page. My views are not necessarily the views of my respective religions, or any of their respective clergy. The name of this blog was inspired by none other than AC/DC and my Dodge Stratus, Philippa.
